WORTHINGTON, OH February 8, 2010 - Nexus Practice IT Services, a leader in providing IT services for medical practices and other professional services, today announced that its founder has been named Executive of the Year in the 2009 TechColumbus Innovation Awards. Winners were honored for excellence in leadership and innovation at a gala award ceremony at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, which was attended by over 1,100 people representing the leading technology companies in Ohio.
"Being named Executive of the Year by TechColumbus is a special honor, given the very talented and successful field of entrepreneurs that vied for the Innovation Award this year," said Alan Arman, CEO of 3X Systems. Mr. Arman is one of Columbus' most successful serial entrepreneurs. He has previously founded four technology firms -- Micro Gallery (which merged with ADC), Lansoft (which was acquired by mail.com), USA.com (which was acquired by EasyLink Services), and 3X Systems which is successfully operating. Mr. Arman received his bachelor's degree in Computer Information Science and Engineering from the Ohio State University. Presented by TechColumbus, the annual Innovation Awards recognize outstanding achievements in technology leadership and innovation.
